What a spray actually does

Spray a dirty pair and something changes immediately. Moisture or tack on the palm. The next catch holds. That part is real.

The foam underneath did not change. Soft latex grips because a few millimeters of open cells can still wrap the ball. If those cells are full of sweat salt, dirt, and minerals, they are still full after the hiss. The cover sits on the glaze. The glaze is still the glove.

The film thins as soon as it is on. Water evaporates. Tack picks up grit. By the next phase, or the next session, you are back to a palm that felt dead before you touched the can. Then you spray again. If you need the same product again before you have trained again, you covered the palm. You did not look after it.
